Reese Witherspoon has hired C. Wonder's interim president Andrea Hyde for a so-far undisclosed lifestyle project that focuses on Reese's style.
Two things we know: It'll be an "omnichannel venture," which is industry code for whatever it is, you can buy it through mobile, the computer and in person. And it'll be Southern. Will Reese sell monograms and riding boots? Hair thickeners and manner books? Cornbread and biscuits? No telling, y'all. But of all the brands to poach an executive from, C.Wonder is a good choice. The colorful company found its niche in the south, opening stores in Charleston, Birmingham, Raleigh/Durham among others in the region over the last couple years. Stay tuned for the big reveal.
