Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, parents of American princess North West, reality super gawds, divisive cover gracers, power couple of our times and Met Ball attendees, are to wed this Saturday. It'll be a small DIY wedding with flower crowns and a wedding photographer with an eye for natural halos of virginal light. Jokes. It'll be a very Kimye affair. The AP has confirmed that Kim and Ye will wed in Belvedere Fort in Florence (as in, not Paris). A spokeswoman for the city's mayors office noted that the couple dropped $410,000 "very recently" to rent the site, which is over 400 years old, and this money will go toward funding restorations of art throughout the city.
Kanye even gave a rare interview to a local newspaper, explaining, "It was our first honeymoon. It's one of the most beautiful cities of the world, for me the most beautiful in Europe." Oh, and North was most likely conceived there. The more you know...the easier it is to plan the next Euro vacation? Stay tuned for further updates.
Update May 20 at 9:15 am: WWD is reporting that Kimye will wed at Château d'Ussé, the French castle that inspired the Disney fairytale Sleeping Beauty, and Belvedere Fort will be the reception location. The report also includes more speculative information on wedding details—supposedly, Kanye insisted that anyone involved in any part of the wedding planning had to sign a 15-page confidentiality agreement. Also, Kim Kardashian will not be wearing Vera Wang but she will be employing Sharon Sacks as her wedding planner again. Sacks also orchestrated Kim's $10 million wedding in 2011 to Kris Humphries.

However, Page Six is sticking with Belvedere Fort as the location of the ceremony, reporting that guests will be flown via private jet to Italy after a private tour of Versailles on Friday and brunch at Valentino's Château de Wideville. According to the report, Andre Leon Talley personally secured Valentino's château for the brunch and will be covering the event for Vogue.com.

The Belvedere Fort location for the wedding might hold the most possibility at this point—Glamour's wedding blogger pointed out that in order for a foreign couple to be married in France, either the bride or groom has to establish residency by living in the country for at least 40 consecutive days.

Update May 20 at 2:00 pm: There's a massive rumor circulating that Lana Del Rey will be performing at the wedding, according to a mysterious source quoted in the Mirror. Kim is a self-proclaimed fan of Lana, and Kanye reportedly tried to book her for a performance during the proposal but it didn't end up happening.

Update May 21 at 9:30am: Celebrity makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic confirmed via Instagram that he would be in charge of Kim's face for the wedding. Based on their past collaborations (see below), Dedivanovic seems to favor a nude lip and smoky brown eye.
In other Kim's face news, US Weekly reports that she got a $550 stem cell facial at Lancer Dermatology last Friday before leaving for Europe. The facial involved a rose oil sheet mask and Dr. Lancer's "famed" vegan stem cell serum.
Update May 21 at 12:00pm: Guess who's on the way?
Update May 21 at 4:30pm: Project Runway alum and Beyoncé dresser Michael Costello will be dressing some of Kim's close friends for the wedding and he just dropped some hints on the dress designs for US Weekly. "We're not just making one dress, we're making two for each girl," said Costello. "I would say the mermaid silhouette definitely takes place a lot in the dresses we are doing." Which makes sense because Kim practically trademarked the mermaid silhouette.
A $6,500 Michael Costello gown that looks like it was born for a Kardashian closet.
Update May 22, 9:00am Another Balmain wedding gown tease as Olivier Rousteing posts another picture with Kim captioned "love."

Update May 22, 3:00pm: In the first non-gossipy, definitely true article of the week, Vogue pulls through with a list of everything Andre Leon Talley packed for the "three day" extravaganza. (What is happening on the third day?? A post-wedding brunch on the moon, perhaps?) His suitcase includes caftans and capes galore, along with socks from the same place that the Catholic church clergy and cardinals buy their wardrobes.
But most importantly, Talley said he would try to pack in his current relaxation essentials: Season Two of Call the Midwife and Thrive by Arianna Huffington. Didn't see that coming.
Important Question:
Update May 22 at 3:45pm: A possible bridal party in front of the Louvre.
Update May 23, 9:15am: It's brunch time at Valentino's château, and the Kimye clan turned out for the event. Side note: Kim's dress is oddly a little reminiscent of her 2013 Met Gala look, for better or worse.
Update May 23 at 9:27am: WE HAVE A SIGHTING OF KIMYE WEDDING GROUND ZERO. WE HAVE A SIGHTING.

Wow, that's a long aisle. But when in Florence, amirite?
Update May 23 at 3:00pm: They're on the way to the rehearsal dinner! It'll be taking place at Versailles and, by the looks of it, there will be a deepest v-neck competition involved at some point.

Update May 24, 10:00am: According to a blurry photo and a "source," Us Weekly reports that Kanye will be reprising his "wall of flowers" trick for the wedding today. Dedicated Kardashian followers will remember that Kanye pulled this move for Mother's Day recently, surprising Kim with wall of roses in their backyard. Because why buy one bouquet, or even 50, when you have the money to cover a large surface? It's just logic. "It's very hot at the moment so they'll have to spray them with water until the wedding starts to stop them from wilting," said Us' on-the-scene spy.
Update May 24, 11:45am: Florence airport arrivals. Reported guests seen leaving the airport include Tyga, John Legend, Chrissy Teigen, and Jaden Smith.
Update May 24, 12:15pm: First sighting of guest attire! Chrissy Teigen instagrammed a shot of her look en route to the ceremony.
Update May 24, 12:55pm: They are officially wed.

Update May 24, 3:45pm: Glamour got the scoop on some of the first wedding guest outfits. From the looks of it, there may have been a pretty strict dress code and it involves lots of black.
Finally, the dress! It's long-sleeve Givenchy Haute Couture.
