Kate Spade Saturday's online shop has officially been laid to rest. Yesterday marked the last day of the brand's going-out-of-business sale (everything on the site was 60% off!) and now Saturday.com shoppers are met with a bright yellow announcement on the homepage that the site is closed. The retailer posted an Instagram of the announcement three hours ago with a caption that reads: "Thank you for being a part of Kate Spade Saturday! Saturday.com is now closed. We invite you to keep in touch and join us at @katespadeny."
When Kate Spade announced that the company was shutting down Saturday in January, it promised that the brand would live on as a weekend-friendly line under the Kate Spade label. No word yet on how or when that development will take shape.
