E!'s continues to do what no red carpet watcher wants: use technology and innovation to change the way we look at people in outfits. Tonight's Grammys did away with the old Mani Cam and replaced it with the just-as-necessary Glam Cam.
As expected, E! proceeded to exhaust its new technology, swooping in on the celeb before going into slow-mo mode and letting the celebrity show off their look like an action movie hero. The best thing that we can say about the Glam Cam is that at least it was a gender-neutral technology, as compared to the old nails-only view.
The technique does seem like it's borrowed directly from another E! entity: The Real Housewives series. It seems like the only thing the Glam Bot is missing is a sassy intro from each of its subjects.
So, we've gone ahead and provided each celeb with a tagline that they could use for their own Glam Bot-style clip.
Big Sean
They call me Big Sean, but what you don't know is that they were talking about my heart.
Ashley Monroe
I'm a little bit country, but I can still rock your world.
Elle King
With a name like King, you know I was born to be a queen.
Tori Kelly
I didn't invent curly hair, but I certainly put a twist on it.
Taylor and Selena
We're not friends, but we do play them in public.
