Hedi Slimane may have already shown Saint Laurent's fall 2016 collection in Los Angeles last month, but that apparently didn't mean he was skipping Paris Fashion Week. Instead, Slimane is showing a surprise haute couture show right now in a building he literally rebuilt for the presentation.
Everything about it sets this show apart: The models are assigned numbers for each haute couture look, the presentation is completely silent, and each showgoer got their name engraved on their chair in lieu of a seat assignment.
Saint Laurent has been beating back rumors for the past couple of months that Slimane is leaving the brand, and some are wondering if this secretive, special show is actually his way of saying goodbye.
