Zac Posen has been teasing shots of a literally lit gown for tonight's Met Gala, and now it's confirmed that Claire Danes is the one wearing the dress.
Danes has attended Met Galas in years past, but never wearing something quite like this. Last year, she wore a dark green Valentino gown, and in 2014, she wore an Oscar de la Renta burgundy-and-pale-pink ballgown. It's safe to say this is probably her riskiest — and most exciting — red carpet look to date.
Unsurprisingly given the theme of fashion and tech, Danes isn't the only one wearing something as over-the-top: Marchesa designed a "cognitive dress" that responds to social media reactions surrounding the event. That one's on Karolína Kurková.
