Spectacle upstarts Warby Parker—whose $95 glasses-complete-with-prescription-lenses are made on the same production lines as $500 frames—already do a world of good. Every day, for every pair of Warby Parker purchased, the company donates a pair to someone in need—the founders partner with non-profits like Restoring Vision to distribute glasses in countries including Bangladesh, Guatemala, and Ethiopia.
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Warby Parker has created this special pink pair of frames—the "Japhy." For every pair purchased, Warby Parker will donate $50 to breast cancer research and education. And a pair of glasses will be given to someone in need.
