Accessorize is Coming to the USA

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Love Claire's, but aged out of its target demographic? Then maybe you'll love Accessorize, the British accessories-only chain store that's breaking ground in the United States this November. The store, which sells shoes, bags, costume jewelry, soft accessories, and pretty much anything you can put on your body that's not clothing, will open two stores in Manhattan this year. They're planning 100 locations in the USA by 2015. We're excited to see how the neo-hippy boho-ish label does Stateside and we're also wondering whether its sister company, Monsoon has plans to migrate as well. [WWD]
