Beyonce Heat Rush

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Beyonce will launch the follow-up to her runaway bestselling first fragrance, Heat, with a second fragrance this February called Heat Rush. (Is that an unfortunate word play on the term Heat Rash?) WWD reports: "A sister scent to the fragrance Knowles launched with Coty in February, Heat Rush will be sold in the U.S. in about 3,000 department and specialty store doors, including Macy's, at launch, then roll out to about 50,000 doors worldwide in May. While Heat is billed as an overtly sexy fragrance, Heat Rush is intended to be more of a daytime fragrance, noted Steve Mormoris, senior vice president of global marketing for Coty Beauty. And make no mistake: there are many more facets of Knowles to come." [WWD]
