Things We Didn't Know We Needed Until Now: Leather Sunglasses

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Yet another use for leather: Gucci sunglasses. The luxury company's newest addition to its stable of eyewear is this 1970s-inspired aviator in square and drop-shaped models—made modern by covering the frames in leather. Available in tan, chocolate brown, blue, and black, the shades will be available November 10th, priced at $495 each.
