Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

An anti-perfume gang of teenagers turned up at Manhattan's flagship Fifth Avenue Abercrombie & Fitch store this afternoon to protest the liberal spraying of the company's signature scent—all over the street. Our sister site, Racked NY was on hand and shot three videos of the chanters. This isn't the only scandal that A&F has been embroiled in in recent years: "There are two A&F security guys out here now. Despite all those stories about how Abercrombie only hires clean-cut white guys, they're both minorities and one has a visible tattoo. Progress?" [RNY]
