We've long lamented that sportswear company Aether Apparel's performance outerwear—which we love for being super-hi-tech, but also non-douchey, non-flashy, and non-neon—was only available in the men's department. Well, lament no more, because that's all about to change. Aether launches three women's styles, staying true to the company's trademark sleek city-to-slopes wearability—the Element jacket, the Stormy, and the Space Hoodie—today at AetherApparel.com.
The Space Hoodie, above, retails for $295, comes in jet black and graphite, and can be used either as a layering piece or a standalone jacket. Made of ultra-fine ripstop poly and prima loft fill, it's unbelievable light and packable.
The Element jacket, $595, comes in black. It's storm-proof, but at the same time, light and breathable. Great for mountain sports because of its flexibility and ability to protect from the wind, cold, and other inclement elements.
The Stormy, $495, comes in black. It's a single-layer jacket that serves as an effective wind and rain barrier. Its slim fit combines with unique elbow articulation point details for a flattering silhouette and ease of movement. Pair it with the Space Hoodie for extra warmth.
