Last night, Racked headed to the Scoop in Manhattan's Meatpacking District to catch up with Josie Natori who has just launched Josie for Scoop, a capsule collection of six styles—all layerable—exclusive for the New York-based boutique.
"I've always admired what Scoop is about," Natori told us. "It's very downtown, with a very cool New York attitude. That's the customer base I really felt like Josie tries to reach—a customer who's not necessarily going to department stores."
The six styles—a slip, two camis, a lace-backed tank, a bandeau, and a panty—come in black, nude, and pink. They're classic Natori—versatile layerable innerwear-outerwear.
"It's a really tight collection of layering pieces," Natori told us. "When you put the pieces in the context of this shop—when you merchandise them together with clothes, people get it. It's really about is clothes that just happen to have a lingerie sensibility."
