Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
This weekend, we checked out the MOVE! fashion-meets-art exhibition at MoMA PS1—and we brought you a photo buffet of installations including one where models, wearing Cynthia Rowley tops, pants, and dresses, get doused in paint by artist Olaf Breuning.
Welp, we just got word that those paint-splattered garments are available for purchase. The denim boatneck top is priced at $400, the trousers are $350, and the sleeveless denim dress is $600. Clean freaks note: because of the nature of the embellishment (i.e. it's paint), these garments are non-washable.
