Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
The American appointments for a sneak peek of the Lanvin for H&M collection are scheduled for this afternoon, but hey guess what? It's already this afternoon in Tokyo! Intrepid fashion writer and friend of Racked, Misha Janette popped by H&M's Japanese headquarters this morning and snapped photos of about 15 key men's and women's wear looks from the hotly-anticipated collection.
The women's collection looks to be heavy on the party-dress looks—with lots of signature tiers and ruffles in lipstick reds and mellow yellows. Men's follows in the aesthetic footsteps of Lanvin designer Alber Elbaz's trademark look—lots of dandy-ish floppy bowties and even a swanky pair of metallic pink oxfords.
Check out our gallery of Lanvin for H&M preview looks above and tell us—which looks are your favorite? And watch this space, we're heading over to check out the collection first-hand this afternoon and we'll be bringing you even more photos and details from the showroom.
