Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Since its launch last week, online concept shop OfaKind is up-and-running at full speed and
today tomorrow at 10am, look out for its latest installment: a unisex scarf-bag (scarb?) created exclusively for the site by husband and wife team Symmetry Goods. The limited edition dual-use piece mixes contrasting, yet complementary herringbone and ikat patterns and is available for $225. So if you think about it, you're basically getting two-in-one, plus you can share it with the man/woman in your life. (Just one teeny suggestion though, remember to launder the bag-cum-scarf after using it to tote your green market produce home.)
For those on a bit of a budget, but itching for some limited edition emerging designer goods—there's more big news from OfaKind. For three weeks starting on Wednesday, December 8, everything going up on the site will be under $100. That news is like the holidays and our birthdays, all in one.
