NYers take their holiday shop windows seriously, so it is a huge shame that Bloomingdale's phoned theirs in this season. Instead of halfway enticing displays, they've instead installed TVs showing screensaver-like generic holiday messages. One commenter weighs in: "It looks like a Best Buy." Even our window photographer goes off on them: "And half of the windows displayed Windows error messages. Guess Bloomingdale's doesn't believe in Apple products either." That's right, Bloomingdale's; you've ruined Christmas for New York City. [RNY]
