Two new American All Saints stores will bow this week—one at San Francisco's Union Square and the other in downtown Seattle (1511 5th Avenue North). Well-known for the directional design of its retail properties, the British chain has added individual features in each of these shops—Turkish looms in the San Fran location and 650 vintage sewing machines throughout the Seattle location, along with iPads installed in both stores for online ordering ease—that make the stores unique.
Of note: More than 70% of each store's fixtures are reclaimed artifacts. All other fixtures are cast-iron and produced in a traditional "sand-casting method out of sustainable materials," says the release. Any non-vintage fixtures are handmade in the UK.
