Rupert Murdoch wants to use the name The Daily for his new iPad newspaper but IMG already publishes a fashion week magazine and website called The Daily. Apparently IMG tried to block Murdoch's company News Corporation from using the name The Daily because they have "common-law trademark rights" to the name. We don't know why IMG even cares so much, since rumors have been circulating for weeks that the company's been trying to dump The Daily. [The Cut, Fashionista]
