Princess-to-be Kate Middleton refused to let stylists dress her in designer clothing for the royal couple's official engagement photo, reports Fashionista. Instead, Middleton opted to wear her own Reiss dress from last year for the Mario Testino photoshoot. The dress allegedly cost £159 full price (about $230). Reiss will re-release the dress this January. What do you think of this move? On one hand, we admire Middleton's down-to-earthness. On the other hand, we're, like, hellooo she's going to be a princess and she's being photographed by Mario Testino and these photos are going to be plastered all over souvenirs from here until eternity, would it kill her to put on a luxury designer dress?
