Squeeze and Release

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

We just got word that today down in Miami, during the free-for-all that is Art Basel, artist Olaf Breuning—who you may or may not remember from the Cynthia Rowley paint-throwing spectacle—will be filling the pool at The Standard with 300 "stress/squeeze release boobs." That's squeezable stress-balls in the shape of breasts. This is something we kind of want to see. Also, there's a gift with purchase: "For the duration of Art Basel Miami, a limited number of installation boobs signed by Olaf Breuning will accompany purchases of Six Scents Series Three fragrances from the hotel’s spa." Well, there's the shopping angle. [Racked Inbox]
