Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Our sister site Racked Chicago pays a visit to the newly-opened haberdashery Shrine on East Oak Street and finds, among other things, "satanistic kabuki effigy heads." It's a pretty awesome store, full of Japanese jewelry and pocket squares, Argentinian fedoras, artisan umbrellas from Italy, Algerian smoking pipes, 18th-century cologne, and bowties. There's so much more and an amazing photogallery—check it out for yourself here. [Racked Chicago]
