Here at Racked, we’ve always been obsessed with shopping—in fact, we’ve grown so used to obsessing about so much of the shopping ecosystem that Racked NY and Racked LA have outgrown their local roots. Combine that with the rise and dominance of instant shopping gratification on the web, fashion's growing relevance in pop culture, and our own growing fascination with the industry and its personalities—all these things, coupled with our deepest, darkest, most superficial materialistic desires and an uncontrollable, existential compulsion to know everything right-now-immediately-this-minute, bring us here. This is Racked National.

Just another fashion blog? Nope. Evolving from our local shopping roots, Racked National aims to make online window shopping as much fun as a stroll down Madison Avenue. Obsessive daily curation of the very best deals and online sales? Check. Special web-only deals for readers? Yep. And we'll unabashedly drool over sexy stuff (and people), recount in vivid detail all the stupid things fashion people do in our presence, report the latest in retail news, and suggest about a million ways to spend your money every day. If it's a place that will take your money, Racked National is here to tell you about it—and get you talking about it.

Meantime, local fans, fear not: Racked NY and LA will continue to roll along, featuring the best in neighborhood-level shopping coverage exclusive to each site. Longtime readers should note that Racked NY now resides at a sexy new address, ny.racked.com, while Racked LA remains at la.racked.com.

Tips: Reader tips have always been Racked's lifeblood. We want to hear from you. Please send online sample sale reports, photos, gossip, and the like to national@racked.com.
