Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Designer Jean Paul Gaultier has gone all collab-happy lately, first with the recent announcement of his line for Target, and now his earth-friendly, sky-high shoe design for Brazilian shoe label Melissa—a 10 cm. plastic stiletto sandal that's 100 percent recyclable (fashion is fickle, you know). The shoe hits stores in June, 2010.
