Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
If you're as obsessed with trawling eBay for elusive fashion finds as we are—Great Finds: Ann Demeulemeester boots, custom-made Gothic Lolita dresses, vintage animal-themed lockets (it was a phase)—then you'll be glad to know that the bargain-lovers' destination will be launching a new fashion selling format in March that takes a page from the sample sale sites (Gilt Groupe, Ideeli, Rue La La, etc.) we already know and love.
There'll be designer "flash sales" as well as an American online outlet mall component—Lord & Taylor and Brooks Brothers are already on board.
