J. Crew International

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

WWD is reporting that, come May, J. Crew's going global—but not by opening brick-and-mortar stores or shipping abroad via jcrew.com. No, the company's decided to branch out (beyond North America and Japan, where J. Crew merch is currently available) to the rest of the world via Net-a-Porter—so prepsters in other countries can ogle some of Michelle, Sasha, and Malia's favorite frocks right alongside wares by Rick Owens, Jason Wu, and Balmain.
