James Piatt: Machine Gun, Baby, & Abandoned Chihuahua Bags

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

We can't decide if they're amazing or awful, but we're pretty sure they're genius—James Piatt's handcrafted bags, created in the images of Paris Hilton's chihuahua Tinkerbell, a machine gun, brass knuckles, and screaming abandoned babies are our accessory obsessions of the day. Available online from his website and also at Bonnie & Clyde's in Chicago and Delicious Boutique in Philadelphia, the handbags are priced from about $85 to just under the $1,000-mark. A small price to pay for some badass urban sartorial warfare, really.
