Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Luxury knitwear company Lutz and Patmos has collaborated with celebrities including Kirsten Dunst, Julianne Moore, Liv Tyler, and supermodel Natalia Vodianova. This season, the brand's teamed up with—wait for it—South African Archbishop Desmond Tutu to create a short-sleeve crew-neck with a detachable necklace. Tutu is a cleric and an outspoken activist against apartheid, AIDS, and poverty. The sweater (with necklace) retails for $425 and is available at lutzandpatmos.com, Barneys and Kirna Zabete. $40 of the purchase of each sweater is donated to the Desmond Tutu Peace Center and $30 of the purchase of each necklace is donated to the Hillcrest Aids Centre Trust.
