Hands down, Rimmel London's Max Volume Flash Mascara is the best new drugstore mascara we've ever tried. Ever. (That's a major declaration, we know.) A few months ago, the Rimmel people gave us a tube to try out—it just hit stores this month and retails for $7.19—the formula has an immediate, clearly visible, super-volumizing effect on our sparse lashes without being clumpy at all (clumpiness is usually a huge problem for us—and much more obvious on shorter lashes too).

We're in love with the brush—it's super-plush, and the fibers are super-flexible, which makes coating each individual lash effortless. Rimmel says that one coat of Max Volume Flash makes eyelashes appear 14-times as thick. We, um, didn't have the means to measure this in our bathroom at home, but we definitely could have gotten away with just doing one coat instead of our usual three. Saved us time, plumped our eyelashes, and comes in a hot-pink tube? Loves.
