Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

As you could probably guess, being a fashion blogger means you spend a lot of time lugging a laptop around with you. That gets old real fast, so we're always looking for a better way to carry the thing. A backpack or messenger bag is ideal, but you lose a certain amount of cred if it doesn't look at least a little cool. Right now we're digging the Director messenger bag by Malcolm Fontier. It's big enough to carry a 15" laptop and a fashion magazine, with plenty of pockets for all the other stuff that winds up in our hands over the course of a day. We like its brown belt. The Director is available in black or brown for $225.
