Ex-plus-size supermodel Sophie Dahl (granddaughter of Roald Dahl and a novelist herself, these days) has penned a part-memoir, part-cookbook about her rise to plus-size supermodel-dom and how it all changed, later on, when she dropped a few sizes. Miss Dahl’s Voluptuous Delights contains over 100 recipes—“The key to the book and the way I feel about food is it’s all about balance... decadent desserts and the odd bit of cream. There’s nothing worse than a forbidding militant way of eating"—as well as anecdotes about her family life, working with Isabella Blow, and dealing with self-esteem and body image issues. [Metro]
