One of the coolest new stores in Aspen is a pop-up-shop with a lease through April 2010, but word on the street is that it's likely it'll stay on for good. Tenet is a 1,300 square-foot multi-brand boutique that rocks a strong American-heritage theme while stocking labels from all over the world. From APC to Fjallraven and Elizabeth Yarborough accessories to Wolverine boots and shoes, there's something for everyone.
The interiors of the store itself are, alone, worth a visit. Built by the store owners and their friends, the space features 14-foot ceilings and exposed brick. A white birch is suspended across the ceiling and the fixtures are custom-made and unique—the burlap-wrapped chandelier, mirrors framed in salvaged banisters from Brooklyn, NY, and clothing rails made from copper piping.
