Since the W-slash-WWD shakeup that left W without and editor-in-chief, tongues throughout the industry have been wagging (more than usual) over who'll take the helm at the oversized American fashion bible. The Daily is reporting that the new W EIC will be none other than T magazine's Stefano Tonchi. "The well-loved editor (to both his colleagues and the advertising community) has already propelled T, his launch title, into the ad-rev stratosphere—relatively speaking—and sans doute, Condé's top types have been watching."
