Rack 'em Up & Hoist 'em High: Instant Uplift Hits Stores Tomorrow

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

For ladies who'd like a bit more push-up from their push-up, the Daily Mail's got the scoop on the Instant Uplift Bra—a medieval-looking top-of-a-corset-looking sort of thing that can be worn on top of a woman's own bra. The effect is instant uplift—without extra padding or a (dreaded) bra-shopping excursion. The Instant Uplift fits sizes 32A through 44C and will hit superstore shelves in the UK tomorrow, priced at £19 (about $30).

"Most women have a favorite bra and now they can wear it with Instant Uplift fitted neatly and comfortably underneath without spoiling the way it looks," said Edward Chary, retail director of New Image TV, which designed the bra. "It also helps with posture and support due to its innovative design and is a much less invasive way of increasing bust size than resorting to surgery."
