We've waited four long years for this—Laitinen has finally arrived in the United States. The luxury menswear label's spring collection's just landed at Soho's iconic Seven New York—pieces in stock include smart jackets with mesh underlayers, wool-and-silk blazers, silk-and-cotton signature print shirts, and gorgeous stretch-leather (!) shorts.
Brother-sister team Tuomas and Anna Laitinen first showed Laitinen at the Festival d'Hyeres in France—it was their first collection, and they took home the Grand Prix Prize—Belgian designer Ann Demeulemeester personally saw to this victory and has been a champion of the duo ever since.
In addition to Seven New York, Laitinen is also sold at Isetan, Midwest, and Heathen in Tokyo; Harvey Nichols and Uma-Miy in Hong Kong; Glossy, Shanghai; SPR+, Amsterdam; Margeeth van Ohlsthoorn, Rotterdam; Rieger, Salzburg; and Helsinki10 and Wunder in its native Helsinki, Finland.
