Remember the late-80s, when there was a Benetton on every corner and the company's flashy-logo colorblock sweatshirts were all the rage? (Yes, we're showing our age.) After shuttering a significant number of its retail locations throughout the 90s and 00s, Benetton has recently indicated the company has plans for retail re-expansion in the United States. "We are considering some alternative in terms of a specific plan for the U.S. It would have to be a retail concept," Alessandro Benetton told WWD. [WWD]
