Thanks to something called ShopFans, Facebook users will soon be able to shop from the comfort of their own, uh, Facebook page. ShopFans allows any retailer or brand to easily set up a storefront on the social networking site—“ShopFans also allows brands to leverage Facebook’s social streams,” said TechCrunch. Meaning the potential here for spreading sale news and offering special incentives to loyal shoppers is endless. This, it turns out, also includes “the ability for consumers to post News Feed stories promoting ‘Wish lists’ [take that Amazon!], ‘I want this!,’ ‘Likes’? gift registries, private and executive sales, and more.” [BlackBook]
