We don't know what's scarier, that there are "20-lb. rats in America" or that they're being slaughtered and worn.Vanity Fair reports that designer Billy Reid loves rat fur—and uses it in his collection!—"I love the masculinity of it. It's sort of the bad-ass fur," he said. "It makes a great blanket," Edmond Mouton, biologist and program manager at the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, told VF. Mouton also eats rat.
