Obsession of the Day: Alain Quilici's Fall 2010 Footwear Collection

New, 1 comment

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Shoe designer Alain Quilici's fall 2010 collection is inspired by David Lynch's 1984 sci-fi movie Dune (trailer after the jump). With sculptural heels and soles, newfangled shoe-boot-sandal mash-ups, and rethinking proportion, Quilici's definitely one-to-watch.

We can hardly wait for fall.
