Daphne Guinness' Mnemosyne Film Nominated for Webby Award

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

When style icon Daphne Guinness launched her first fragrance, Mnemosyne, in collaboration with Comme des Garcons last year, she also created a film by the same name in collaboration with a co-director, David Parker. The film has been nominated for a Webby Award (awards that honor excellence on the internet) in the experimental category.

It's also eligible for a People's Choice Award—so if you're digging what Daphne's done, click over to the Webby Awards site and vote!
