Another day, another luxury store opening at Las Vegas' Crystals shopping forum at CityCenter.
The new store is divided into three sections: women's wear, footwear, and handbags and accessories. In keeping with the overall tone of Vegas, the walls, displays, seats, and surfaces are all covered in gold.
Last week Miu Miu opened at 4,500 square foot store in Sin City—the brand's seventh in the United States. "We continue to regard Las Vegas as a major U.S. market," Sebastian Suhl, COO of Prada, said. "Hence, our commitment to Las Vegas and our 2010 investments, which will most likely be followed by others in the coming years."
Suhl also said that Miu Miu's largest customer group is Americans.
