The parent company of SeenOn, a website that tells people where to buy clothes they've seen on TV, has just bought sample sale site Billion Dollar Babes. A Racked tipster sent us this story in the NY Times that says Delivery Agent, the parent company, which also runs shopping sites for major studios including ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, and HBO, is keen to expand their celebrity-driven offerings into private flash sales, a la BDB. "Things in pop culture are hot one day and cold the next, and we thought the idea of being able to harness the heat and match that up with the private sale offering could turn into a pretty good consumer proposition," said CEO Mike Fitzsimmons.
