The non-profit organization Matter of Trust is seeking donations of hair, nylons, fur, and wool to help create hair booms to clean up the oil spill in the Gulf.
Check out the handy-dandy video above for a more thorough explanation, but basically it comes down to this: hair attracts oil, so lots of hair will attract lots of oil. And there it is.
