Frederick's of Hollywood Swimwear: Introducing The Bridal Bikini

New, 1 comment

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

After decades of selling women some of the sexiest, raciest lingerie in the mainstream market, Frederick's of Hollywood will enter the swimwear category full-force in 2011 with a collection of super-sexy bikinis and one-pieces.

For anyone who can't wait a whole year, the company's put a limited selection up for pre-order this season—including the "I Do" bridal bikini, which retails for $98 ($49 for the top, $49 for the bottom). Suits will ship to customers around May 17th.

Tip: Frederick's bras are constructed in a 1940s European cut—they're designed to project boobs upwards and outwards. So, for anyone looking for a little height and cleavage, we strongly recommend a trip to your local Frederick's outpost!
