Nigo's Vintage

New, 1 comment

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Just when you thought Bape founder Nigo couldn't get any cult-er or cooler, he goes and opens a hyper-curated upscale consignment shop in Tokyo. Just opened in Omotesando Hills Mall (no sneering, this mall is cool—it also houses a Chanel and a Margiela, one stacked right on top of the other, true story), Pass the Baton sells archive sneakers from A Bathing Ape, jewelry, rare books, and (just fyi) Pee-Wee Herman dolls. This is the second Pass the Baton location, the first is situated in the Marunouchi district of Tokyo. [WWD]
