Sometimes politicians just want to break out of their dark-suit-power-tie combos and get their fashion freak on—and it looks like Japan's Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama did just that. Too bad his sartorial eccentricities are hurting his approval ratings. "It's the latest crime in a long fashion rap sheet," said critic Konishi in the Yomiuri Shimbun, "as he highlighted other multi-colored shirts, mauve coats, and what Konishi calls the biggest faux pas—the hearts and pink blazer outfit."
