Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
One of our favorite bloggers/people, Michael Williams of A Continuous Lean, is up in Massachusetts right now at the Brimfield Show, the world's largest outdoors antiques show. The six-day event (which is happening three times this year—check the official site for details)—hosts more than 6,000 vendors and 130,000 visitors spread out over 23 fields.
Despite the drizzly weather in Brimfield—"Barbour coats and rubber boots were the order of the day," he says—MW's taken some amazing photos and found some great stuff, including a moose head in the back of a truck, a set of steel file drawers-slash-card-catalog, some cool neon signs, and a gnome holding an American flag. No, we're not being sarcastic—it's way cooler than we're able to describe in words.
