Actress Kate Hudson is set to join Elaine Irwin Mellencamp as the new spokesperson for Almay. The deal, set to be announced tonight, is a multi-year contract estimated in value between $1 million and $3 million.
"Almay as a brand has a very loyal customer base," Thomas Lauinger, VP of marketing, said. "They know and love Elaine, who has been the face for many years. But now we are really going to the next level with Almay with a fresh face that reflects the image and core values [of the brand] and Kate really embodies that for us."
Hudson's ads and commercials for the cosmetics company will hit the air this summer.
