Fashion designers and tastemakers had a good weekend—Catherine Malandrino, Robert Burke, Carmen Marc Valvo, Jay Levitt and Diane von Furstenberg were all bestowed honors at fashion schools. Malandrino accepted Pratt Institute's Fashion Icon Award, presented by Paper magazine's Kim Hastreiter; Robert Burke and Carmen Marc Valvo were honored with The Fashion Bug's Jay Levitt at FIT by Francisco Costa and Suze Yalof Schwartz; and Diane von Furstenberg received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Savannah College of Art and Design from Andre Leon Talley.
