"I hate those adverts for Glade air fresheners. A woman is at home, during the day (why is she not at work?), worrying about friends coming round for coffee (why aren't they at work?) and the fact all her cushions have not been plumped. What does she do? Spray the air with Glade, of course, which has the effect of making her friends exclaim at the sheer perfection and loveliness of her home. Do advertisers really believe that women behave like this? That we have nothing else to occupy us, and talk about? Is this still the Fifties?" [Daily Mail]
